from waves to caves... (SOLD OUT)
The Yucatán Asymmetrical Boulder Opal Stud Earrings feature a remarkable pair of Wood Fossil Opals. Laced with the vibrant colors of the Yucatán's tropical blue waters, sandy beaches, and hints of the pink pools of *Las Coloradas, these mismatched Opals carry an alluring water theme. This theme is balanced by intermittent green flashes and 3D formations of host stone within the rectangular Opals, together reflecting the Peninsula's lush rainforests and its famed underground caverns. A marvelous range of terrain within two small stones. At just the right angle, you can almost see the pyramid at Chichen Itza trapped within the smaller stud.
These natural Boulder Opals sit in hand carved 14k gold bezels, each one custom created for its unique stone. The mountings are T-bars with open backs, allowing light to pass through transparent points in the Opalized Wood. Ever changing; always magical. One of a Kind Opal Earrings.
