Do your earrings come with backings?

All NIXIN stud earrings come with secure, 14k or 18k gold backs to match the karat of the gold earring. Drop earrings featuring ear wires do not have additional components. Hardware is carefully selected to uniquely suit each design.

Are your opal earrings lightweight?

Almost always. This is a subjective question, but we are rather sensitive to heavy earrings that tug on the lobe and bear this in mind when designing our opal earrings. Occasionally, we'll chance a heavier pair of earrings, but the vast majority are quite light.

Can I order just one earring as a replacement?

In some cases, yes. Contact us directly with your request—we may be able to recreate a matching earring or offer a creative solution.
